Residents are presented with opportunities and supports to develop and or enhance their skills in the areas of: cooking, budgeting and banking, household tasks, life skills, personal awareness, decision making, community awareness, relationships, home safety, health care, employment, recreation and leisure. Clinical consultation is provided by Alberta Mental Health and the St. Therese Hospital Psychiatric Unit.

Basic Admission Criteria:

  • 18 years or older and must voluntarily want to be admitted.
  • An application and complete medical are required.
  • A willingness to participate and work towards goals, program guidelines, safety regulations, house rules along with a treatment plan.
  • No present substance abuse.

If an applicant is accepted, arrangements will be made for the individual to move in on a 90-day trial basis.
