Job Finders Club
The Job Finders Club helps people to prepare for and make positive contacts with employers based on their expressed desires and preferred field of work. Monthly meetings are held to offer supports and information relating to employment expectations and the current job market.
Support is based on but not limited to:
- Work-related behaviors and labor standards
- Information on careers and skill recognition
- Job searching, using the job-bank computer, interview skills, application processing and preparing resumes.
Basic Admission Criteria: Applicants must be registered with the St. Paul Abilities Network and be working toward competitive employment, currently employed, or willing to improve their skills.
Employment Support Services trainees may be referred by themselves, a guardian, program area supervisor or St. Paul Abilities Network's Director of Client Services. All referrals must be submitted through the Community Employment Services team leader of the St. Paul Abilities Network. There are no service fees for this program.
