Action Bus Program

The Action Bus Program is a service offering accessible, safe transportation within the community and surrounding area to people with mobility challenges. The program provides scheduled door-to-door service by a professionally-trained driver who has first aid knowledge along with CPR and emergency training.

Individuals must have a physical and/or developmental disability to be able to access the service. They must be able to independently remain seated and keep their seat belt on while vehicle is in motion or have an attendant with them.

Bookings can be made by calling (780) 645-3133 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. It is advised that you call well in advance to ensure availability. Special trips may be arranged, either outside of or during these time frames.

In-town round trips are $8.00, or $5.00 one-way. Price quotes are available for out-of-town, special trips and group rates. For more information email Jim Wirsta at jwirsta@spanet.ab.ca
