The St Paul Abilities Network (SPAN) is recruiting for an Executive Director who can guide the organization in the next phase of its strategic plan. We are looking for a leader who has a demonstrated track record working in the non-profit sector combined with sound human resource, finance and risk, and strategic management competencies. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills; employs a collaborative approach that values team work; and works constructively with a governance board. The Executive Director will lead an experienced management and administrative team overseeing SPAN’s operations and will report to the board of directors.
St Paul Abilities Network is a non-profit agency in Northeast Alberta who has been delivering services for persons with disabilities and mental health challenges for 56 years. SPAN supports 100 individuals with disabilities through 11 Lifetime homes, 3 Complex Needs Homes, a Mental Health Home, Supported Independent Living services, Day programs, Supported Employment, a Brain Injury Outreach Service and various Social Enterprises employing persons with disabilities. SPAN has 145 dedicated staff supporting individuals in services throughout the St Paul Area.
